I see a furlong of grandeur of green
Harbouring such breathtaking beauty!
And there a spinney adds to the colour
                    As silence spreads its splendour…

Shinning an ethereal lambent
Is a paradise truly designed for a connoisseur
And here solitude and self rendezvous

Amidst this denuded divinity I sit
Listening to my heart beat déjà vu
And then serenity smiles with peace so pure
                   As silence spreads its splendour…

Breathing an enchanting air of ecstasy
I feel alive afresh, as to the nature I surrender!
And may this ephemeral euphoria never peter
                  As silence spreads its splendour…

Consumed in this rondo as it continues to ring
A rapturous reality dawns upon me
That only a Sabbath can hold such sanctity
                  And give silence its splendour silently…
